The membership 

There are two streams of members in the AIMS, namely (a) active members who could be Greeks from Macedonia or any the part of Greece, possessing approved tertiary qualifications, (b) assistant members, either students or social members whose application has been approved by the Board and (c) honorary members from within the broader society who have rendered valuable services to the Institute or to Hellenism.

Any person who qualifies in any of the aforementioned three membership categories could apply in writing to become members of the AIMS (Application Form for Membership). If you wish to become a member please complete the attached application form and send it to the Secretariat at panosgogidis@hotmail.com or at nicholaskatris@bigpond.com the to the public officer of the Institute. The annual membership fee is $20.00 for all members, except pensioners and students which is free. Please kindly note that any right, privilege or obligation of a person by reason of his/her membership could not be transmitted or be transferred. Please also kindly note that the Board may decline to admit any person or persons to the membership.

Delegates of Macedonian Hellenes from all over Australia participate at the Conference organised by the Australian Institute for Macedonian Studies on Ancient and Byzantine Macedonia and its capital Thessaloniki.
